ROGER FEDERER's MATCH USED RACKET FROM THE 2011 FRENCH OPEN
Roger Federer used this racket in his legendary run at the 2011 French Open. After defeating Lopez, Texeira, Tipsarevic, Wawrinka, and Monfils with ease, Federer found himself matched against Novak Djokovic on June 3rd for a spot in the final. Djokovic had already defeated him in their first 3 encounters in 2011, and had won 43 consecutive matches. With his 41-0 start to the season, he was only one win away from tying John McEnroe's greatest start to a season ever. Federer's 7-6(5), 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(5) victory would be regarded as one of the greatest of his career. He would go on to lose a tightly-contested final against Rafael Nadal, 7-5, 7-6(3), 5-7, 6-1.
